Ians 1986 911 3.2 Carrera Coupe Beauty

After spending the last 6 months with us undergoing restoration work, local business man Ian was happy to be handed the keys back to his 1986 911 3.2 Carrera Coupe. The Carrera was bought by Ian last August and was immediately booked in with us for work to commence. We started by getting the engine running correctly before embarking on the panel work. New ‘b’ posts were fitted along with kidney bowls, outer sill repairs, a new O/S rear quarter panel and 2 new front wings. We fitted a new fuel tank, new oil lines and all new discs, pads and calipers and refurbished the original Fuchs alloys along with new Pirelli tyres.

We then turned the car over to our top painter Ross who created this stunning finish in Glasurit Guards Red. New carpets were fitted and as well as having the seats and door cards reupholstered in Black leather, we installed the latest in car audio systems with Bluetooth synchronisation. The whole thing was pieced back together just in time for Ian and his wife to embark on a 800 mile round trip to Cornwall to celebrate his 50th birthday. The finished results speak for themselves, the car came in on budget and has given Ian a great excuse to get out driving throughout the summer as well as proving to be an excellent investment.
